Method of management for a vehicle parking system

The system has an individual detection unit constituted of an anti-theft cable for directly/indirectly detecting the presence of a vehicle i.e. bicycle (2), placed at the level of each of parking places in a parking lot (10). A control unit (50) is connected to an identification unit (20) e.g. radiofrequency identification chip reading device, and the detection unit. The control unit has an assigning unit that assigns a free parking place or terminal (12) to a user based on available places detected by the detection unit, during identification of the user. An independent claim is also included for a method for automatically managing an assembly of automatic parking systems.
