A method of hot rolling strips includes rolling in a roughing group of stands, transfer of intermediate breakdown into an intermediate rewinder for roll winding, transfer of the front (outer) end of the first roll into the first stand of finishing group of stands, rolling in the finishing group of stands with successive arrangement thereof. After rolling the strip in the inlet stands of the first subgroup of finishing group the process of continuous rolling is interrupted, the strip is winded into a roll in the intermediate rewinder and upon termination of winding the front (outer) end of the strip is fed into the stands of the second subgroup of finishing group and the strip is rolled to obtain the given thickness of finished strip. |
