A method for predicting the course of glaucoma comprises the complex ophthalmologic examination. When glaucoma is suspected, electroencephalogram is performed. The computed assessment of the difference between blood circulation volumes in the right and left cerebral hemispheres is calculated. When this difference is up to 15 %, the risk of glaucoma development is low. When this difference is within 16-20 % – the risk is significant, and when this difference is above 20 %, the risk is high. |
