A method of increasing bonding strength of straw particles relates to production of the wood-based panels and can be used in woodworking industry. In a method for increasing bonding strength of straw particles, due to the fact that the urea- or phenol formaldehyde resin during preparation of the adhesive ethyl alcohol is introduced as a modifying agent thus increasing strength of bonding, extending raw material base for production of panels, saving valuable raw timber. The method of increasing bonding strength of straw particles is carried by modifying urea- or phenol formaldehyde resin. The novelty of method is that during preparation of adhesive into urea- or phenol formaldehyde resin as a modifying agent ethanol is introduced at the rate of 5-20 wt. parts per 100 wt. parts of resin. |
