A unit for harvesting breeding castor bean crops consists of a frame on which a rotary-comb dresser made as a cylinder is mounted, of a case of curvilinear shape and a drive of a working element. A tray of a bent shape with a cut for passing a plant is mounted under the combing chamber. The cutter elements are mounted along the length of the cut.
