A method for treating the odontogenic pyo-inflammatory processes of the maxillofacial area in the aged patients comprises the dissection of the abscess, the use of antibiotics, sulfanilamides, desensitizers and detoxifying agents. Intramuscular injections of Imunofan (50 µg once a day for 7 days) supplement the postoperative treatment schedule.
