[Also in 'Division H1] A motor operated toy, particularly a doll 10, comprises an electric motor 40, drive means connected to the motor to drive a movable part of the toy, a battery connected to the motor and a fluid operated switch (see Heading H1N) which operate when fluid is introduced into the toy. In the doll 10 liquid entering orifice 116 actuates the fluid .switch 18 causing the motor 40 to drive, .through a worm, 44 and gearing, a shaft 62 which moves the head of the doll and cranks 30 which co-operate with recesses 32 to move the arms 12 of the doll. The switch is operated by placing the doll in a bath of water. |
