The device has a support piece (2) for supporting a longitudinal covering profile (1), and a base forming piece (3) fixed on a crest (F) of a wall (M). Rods (41, 42) slide through respective orifices (24, 25) of the support piece and the base forming piece for guiding the support piece opposite to the base forming piece so as to adjust the inclination of the profile opposite to the crest and the distance of the profile based on a direction perpendicular to the crest. Locking nuts are respectively mounted on the rods for locking the rods inside the orifices in a preset position.
