PURPOSE: A laser device is provided to apply a dielectric resonator, thereby exciting a laser medium by the resonance reaction of electromagnetic wave energy. CONSTITUTION: A dielectric resonator(10) is composed of a dielectric body(11) with fixed permittivity. One or more cavities(12) are formed in the dielectric body. A shield layer(11a) is formed on the surface of the dielectric body. A light resonator(20) is installed in the cavities of the dielectric body. The gap between an output coupling mirror and a reflective mirror is charged with a gas medium(25). One or more feeds are installed in the dielectric body. |
