PURPOSE: A detoxification treatment method for PCB waste, and a catalyst extraction method from obtained incinerated ash are provided to use fuel ash obtained by combusting fuel for simply detoxifying liquid organic halide. CONSTITUTION: A detoxification treatment method for PCB waste comprises the following steps: alkali processing PCB(poly chlorinated biphenyl) from the PCB waste with a catalyst and a solvent; separating the PCB into biphenyl sodium and sodium chloride; and hydrolyzing the biphenyl sodium into biphenyl. |
