The present invention relates to a chemical composition that is characterized by the physico-chemical composition thereof. Said composition may be used to fight forest fires and the application thereof may be aerial, by means of discharge from aircraft, and also to create fire breaks, which facilitates the actions of land-based firefighters. This novel chemical composition acts in contact with flames, creating a layer that is impenetrable to the fire and thereby eliminating ignition and re-ignition and preventing propagation. |
