PURPOSE: An energy saving control system of an electric moving object and control method thereof are provided to quickly control and save energy consumption. CONSTITUTION: An energy saving control system of an electric moving object comprises a consumed energy detecting unit(25), a supply energy detecting unit(40), a driving information obtaining unit(45), a driving distance calculating unit(50), a destination distance calculating unit(55), a power saving state determining unit(60), and a power saving mode controller(65). The consumed energy detecting unit calculates the consumed energy amount of first and second energy consumption devices. The supply energy detecting unit calculates the amount of power supplied to an energy supply device which supplies power to a moving object.
