Dietary supplement comprises a roll composed of probiotic microorganism and binder having low solubility in water and/or gelling property, where the all components are subjected to a compressive force of 100-200 mPA, preferably 141 mPA. An independent claim is included for a process for distribution of microorganism in food for animals, the food being contained in a tank before being distributed to animal, comprising disposing the dietary supplement in a tubular extruding thread adapted to delay the degradation of the dietary supplement, the thread being linked to a cable; placing the tubular extruding thread net containing the roll in feeding tank; fixing the cable on a hooking means at the outside of the tank; and after disintegration of the roll in the food, removing the thread from the feeding tank.
