REFRIGERATOR HAVING HINGE-TYPE LIGHTING APPARATUS

PURPOSE: A refrigerator with a hinge type lighting device is provided to reduce manufacturing costs by simultaneously executing lighting and door switch functions using lamps. CONSTITUTION: A refrigerator with a hinge type lighting device comprises one or more brackets(100) and transparent lamp units(200). The brackets are installed in the inner wall of a supporting plate or an inner case of the refrigerator and have inlets. The transparent lamp units are hinged on the inlets of the bracket through torsion springs installed in the brackets. The transparent lamp units have Light Emitting Diodes. The LEDs are switched off when the transparent lamp units are hinged.
