PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a holder for a surface treatment of a spherical body, which enables the whole area of the surface of the spherical body to be surface-treated while precisely grasping the temperature of the spherical body; a method for surface-treating the spherical body; and a method for manufacturing a spherical component. SOLUTION: The holder 1 which is the holder for the surface treatment of the spherical body includes a first holding plate 10 having a plurality of through-holes 11 therein and a second holding plate 20 having a plurality of through-holes 21 therein. The through-holes 21 of the second holding plate 20 are formed so as to be in a position corresponding to the through-holes 11 of the first holding plate 10 when the second holding plate 20 is arranged along the first holding plate 10.
