摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery pack testing apparatus for preventing a reverse power flow to an incoming power supply system. SOLUTION: An AC/DC power supply 2, functioning as a voltage regulator, is connected to the incoming power supply system 1. The battery packs 41 and 42 to be tested are connected by one set of two at an output node of the AC/DC power supply 2. Regenerative DC/DC charge and discharge devices 31 and 32 are placed between the AC/DC power supply 2 and each battery pack 41 and 42, respectively. Reverse power flow to the incoming power supply system 1, while being discharged from the battery 41 to be tested, is prevented by using either of the two battery packs as a buffer tank for power. Regenerative power from the battery 41 to be tested is stored in the buffer battery 42 and supplied from the buffer battery 42 to the battery 41 to be tested without using the incoming power. Power overflow of the battery to be tested from the buffer battery is prevented, by taking advantage of the fact that the conversion efficiency of the two regenerative DC/DC charge and discharge devices 31 and 32 is less than 100%, at regeneration.
