PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure and a system for a composite magnetic shield capable of controlling the magnetic field distribution in the internal space of a target. SOLUTION: A magnetic shield blind 3 is arranged on an inner surface of a target space S as a passive magnetic shield, a compensating magnetic field generating coil 10 is arranged in each region obtained by dividing the inner surface to form an active magnetic shield, and a magnetic flux density in a magnetic plate 2 is detected by magnetic sensors 14 attached to a plurality of positions on the shield blind 3; magnetic field distribution in the target space S is calculated from the positions of the magnetic sensors 14, detection values, and the longitudinal direction of the shield blind 3. By selectively applying a compensation current i, corresponding to a deviation between the calculated magnetic field distribution and predetermined magnetic field distribution to the coil 10 of each region, inside of the target space S is controlled to the predetermined magnetic field distribution. Preferably, an annular shield blind 5, obtained by arranging the magnetic shield blind 3 is arranged, while magnetically coupling the magnetic shield blind along the inner peripheral surface of the target space S.
