<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image recording method which allows an image pattern to correspond to a rugged pattern of an image and can facilitate high-image quality print. <P>SOLUTION: The image recording method of recording an image and the rugged shape corresponding to the image on a support by applying liquid material in which the formation material is dissolved or dispersed by using a droplet ejection method includes: a process S3 of producing base layer data as image data of a base layer selectively disposed on the support by using a part of the image data of the image; a process S4 of making pit map data contracted such that the contour of an imaging area does not superimpose the boundary among a plurality of pixels constituting the base layer data based on the base layer data; a process S5 of forming the base layer by coating the liquid material selectively on the support based on the pit map data; and a process S6 of forming an image layer coming into contact with the base layer and the surface of the support by coating the liquid material on the base layer and the support based on the image data. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
