<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing apparatus having more varieties of operation systems. <P>SOLUTION: A portable terminal 100 is configured to, when detecting an operation input to a display screen, recognize a plurality of gesture operations (scrolling, zooming) from the operation input. and to perform processing corresponding to at least one of the plurality of recognized gesture operations.
