摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storage battery deterioration determination method and apparatus, which ensures functions of a storage battery as an emergency power supply and performs the deterioration determination of the storage battery easily, and also to provide a storage battery charging method and apparatus which performs charging with a sufficient electric capacity as an emergency power supply. SOLUTION: Actual values in the charging/discharging history of the storage battery are accumulated (S12). The theoretical remaining capacity of the storage battery is then calculated on the basis of the accumulation result and the initial capacity of the storage battery, and a theoretical voltage value corresponding to the calculated theoretical remaining capacity is determined (S13 to S15). The actual voltage of the storage battery is measured (S16). The actual voltage value and the theoretical voltage value are then compared to each other to determine the degree of deterioration of the storage battery (S17). When the storage battery is charged with a necessary charging capacity, the necessary charging capacity for the storage battery is adjusted on the basis of the determined degree of deterioration.
