SOLUTION: A line block obtained by averaging common line blocks LCB and LCBb formed by respective nozzles 0, 5, 10, 15, ... is denoted by LCBAve and the X coordinates of the lines Lc0_ave, Lc5_ave, Lc10_ave, ... of the line block LCBAve are denoted by x0ÐLCB_ave, x5ÐLCB_ave, x10ÐLCB_ave, ..., respectively. The plurality of common line blocks are formed and averaged to make an error smaller. In other words, dx5_ave<dx5, dx5b, dx10_ave<dx10 and dx10b are obtained. Thus, the influence of the positional fluctuations (error) of the common line blocks exerted on the correction result of the measurement position of each line block can be reduced.
