PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition that reduces a production time and enables excellent control on charging of toner particles. SOLUTION: The composition includes: a latex emulsion combined with a charge control agent containing a polyhydroxyalkanoate quaternary phosphonium trihalo zinc acid salt, a metal complex of dimethyl sulfoxide, or a complex selected from a group consisting of salicylic acid, dicarboxylic acid derivative, benzoic acid, oxynaphtoic acid, sulfonic acid and combinations of these; and a functional monomer having a carboxylic acid functional group.
