PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a parking apparatus hardly damaging vehicles while regulating the escape of vehicles. SOLUTION: The parking apparatus (2) includes: a regulating member (41) movable between a regulating position in which the regulating member (41) is disposed in a rising state from a parking surface so that it can contact the vehicle to regulate the in-and-out of the vehicle (B), and a permitting position in which the regulating member (41) is disposed in a falling state onto the parking surface to permit the in-and-out of the vehicle (B); a contact detecting means (C14C) detecting the contact between the regulating member (41) and the vehicle (B); and a regulation control means (C14) controlling the movement of the regulating member (41) between the regulating position and the permitting position and moving the regulating member (41) by a preset separation amount to the permitting position side when detecting the contact between the regulating member (41) and the vehicle (B).
