PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shot blasting method of a steel plate and equipment therefor in which projected shots are never left over on the steel plate. SOLUTION: The shots are projected onto the upper surface of the steel plate, while conveying the steel plate in a state that the steel plate is slanted by a predetermined angle with respect to a horizontal plane for the purpose of causing projected shots to slide down from the upper surface, so that the projected shots are not left over on the upper surface, or the shots are projected onto the upper surface of the steel plate, while jetting compressed air onto the upper surface of the steel plate to blow off the shots from the steel plate.
