PURPOSE: A ductility increasing shear wall system is provided to secure structural stability and to improve vibration and impact absorbing performance by guiding lateral force to a slit damper junction. CONSTITUTION: A ductility increasing shear wall system comprises a reclamation unit(200), a slit damper body(400) and a slit damper junction(100). One side of the reclamation unit is buried in a shear wall. The other side of the reclamation unit is buried in a lintel. The slit damper body is made of I and H-steel. The slit damper body is connected to the reclamation unit and buried in the lintel. The slit damper junction is connected to both ends of the slit damper body.
