PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insert filter holder keeping stability of a gelatin filter by suitably interposing and holding the gelatin filter regardless of thickness thereof. SOLUTION: A filter pressing frame 20 has a pair of elastic leg parts 21 each having one end fixed on a holder body 10 and extending along both sides of a luminous flux passing aperture 12, a rectangular inside frame 22 located inside the pair of elastic leg parts 21 and extending on an outer circumference of the luminous flux passing aperture 12, and a connection part 23 connecting the pair of elastic leg parts 21 and the rectangular inside frame 22. Four abutting projections 22A, 22B, 22C and 22D abutting on the gelatin filter GF held between the holder body 10 and the filter pressing frame 20 are formed on the rectangular inside frame 22.
