<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device for electric appliances, the control device making the device simple in structure and giving a sure operation. <P>SOLUTION: The control device for electric appliances includes a control panel. A plurality of capacity sensor elements for a capacity contact switch or a proximity switch are arranged at the lower part of the control panel, and are arranged in a continuous row so as to form a narrow and long slider for operation by movement of a finger throughout the sensor elements by touching the finger. The sensor elements are all the same and have a rectangular shape and, in this case, each of the sensor elements is aligned with one of the first side face of mutually facing sensor elements, and each of sensor elements is aligned mutually in parallel and in a row to all of the side faces of the sensor elements. Accordingly, the sensor elements are arranged in a row in the same way with respect to the continuous row, and in this case, in order to form a row to arrange the sensor elements, the first side face is rotated by an angle of 15°-90°. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
