<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular seat belt device capable of reliably switching limit loads. <P>SOLUTION: The seal belt device for preventing looseness of a webbing due to a pretensioner 10 prior to a crash selects between absorbing energy only by a torsion bar and absorbing energy by both the torsion bar and an EA plate according to the occupant's weight from actuation of the pretensioner 10 until completion of winding of the webbing 5 in order to regulate the rotation of a spool 13 during drawing of the webbing 5, so that a load applied to the occupant from the webbing 5 is reliably selected to protect the occupant. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
