PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve safety by preventing data loss. SOLUTION: A hard disk driving device 100 includes a magnetic disk 104, a write/read control unit 232 for controlling read or write from/to the magnetic disk 104, an error detection unit 231 for detecting an error in the read/write control, a determination unit 241 for determining whether the number of errors detected within a predetermined time exceeds a predetermined threshold or not, and a prohibition control unit 242 for permitting, when the number of errors is determined to exceed the threshold value, only reading from the magnetic disk 104 of the write/read control unit 232.
