PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile communication terminal capable of improving operability in input of Japanese character. SOLUTION: If an input detection unit 131 detects input of information about a first alphabet other than A that can be a vowel, a second alphabet that can be a consonant corresponding to "ka" column through "wa" column by being combined with the vowel, and a third alphabet being neither the first alphabet nor the second alphabet, an input character decision unit 136 selects a candidate for an input character among the second alphabet, the third alphabet, and the first alphabet other than A, and decides an alphabet displayed at the time point when the input detection unit 131 detects a key release after a key long depression as an input character. A display control unit 137 causes a display panel to display the alphabet decided as the input character or a hiragana corresponding to the Hepburn system as the Romanization of Japanese composed of the alphabet and another alphabet.
