PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel image display device having excellent entertainment property. SOLUTION: The image display device includes at least: one projector; at least one circularly polarized light filter for obtaining a first image formed of first circularly polarized light and a second image formed of second circularly polarized light different in direction from the first circularly polarized light in images projected from at least the one projector; and an image display body for displaying the first and second images in a state of maintaining the first circularly polarized light and second circularly polarized light. The image display device is configured so that an observer observes the first or second image, when the observer observes the composite image of the first and second images displayed on the image display body, in the case where the observer observes the composite image with the naked eyes, and when the observer uses glasses made of a polarization plate through which the first or second circularly polarized light passes.
