PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper sheet processing device and an image forming system, which reduce much inconveniences of users in a conventional one in the case wherein the device is broken, it is difficult to repair and exchange by pulling out a saddle stitching staple unit due to the existence of the paper sheet, or wherein since parts are not unified as the saddle stitching staple unit, it is necessary to remove components one by one for exchange and re-adjustment. SOLUTION: This paper sheet processing device includes: a loading means to be loaded with conveyed paper sheets; a matching means for matching the paper sheets loaded on the loading means; and a saddle stitching means for saddle stitching a bundle of the paper sheets matched by the matching means. Members structuring the saddle stitching means can be detached from a device body in a direction nearly vertical to the paper surface of the bundle of the paper sheets P positioned in the saddle stitching position.
