<p>A method for preparing purified yeast is disclosed, where the squalene source is a yeast that hyper-produces squalene. The squalene is useful for pharmaceutical purposes. For instance, it can be used to prepare an oil-in-water emulsion, and the emulsion is particularly suitable for use as an immunological adjuvant.</p> |
