PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a door frame, which allows each of workers of different industry sectors to perform operation in a construction site in order without boomerange to prevent the adjustment or management of an operation process from being put into an extremely strict state, and has both of responding property capable of responding to an error, even if caused in the wall thickness of an opening part, and satisfactory workability, and a method for mounting the door frame. SOLUTION: The door frame includes a first frame body provided on an opening edge on one wall surface side of an opening of a wall surface, and a second frame body provided on an opening edge on the other wall surface side of the opening. The first frame body includes a door stopper which is provided on a leading end inside the opening, and a holding section which is provided on the reverse side of the door stopper to hold an inside leading end portion of the second frame body overlapping with the door stopper from the reverse side together with the door stopper.
