<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a catalyst material which is capable of combusting soot at a low temperature without corroding a honeycomb structure onto which it is loaded. <P>SOLUTION: In the manufacturing method of a catalyst material to be used for burning carbon, a hydrothermal treatment is applied to a transition alumina and an Ag<SB>2</SB>O at a temperature of 150°C or higher in the presence of an acetic acid, and a sol form Ag-boehmite mixture is obtained and burned. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
