<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating system provided on a base metal and capable of entirely forming a ceramic film by a colloidal-based process so as to have the thickness that would ordinarily prone to cracks and separation when being subjected to the heat cycle, and a colloidal-based coating process. <P>SOLUTION: After a precursor primer layer is formed on surface regions 12, 16, 18, at least a precursor coating layer 14 that is thicker than the precursor primer layer is formed on the precursor primer layer. The precursor primer layer contains particles and a precursor of a first ceramic material. The precursor coating layer contains particles and a precursor of a second ceramic material having the same predominant constituent as the first ceramic material. The precursor primer layer and the precursor coating layer are then heated to form a ceramic film 20 and a ceramic coating layer 14, respectively, which consist essentially of the particles and matrices of, respectively, the first and second ceramic materials. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
