PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carrying apparatus or the like, which can reduce the exchange of torque between two rollers. SOLUTION: The carrying apparatus includes: first carrying rotating units 18, 20 carrying mediums 53 to be carried; first rotating body drive units 64, 61, a second carrying rotating unit 12; a second rotating body drive unit 66; and torque information detecting means 67, 76 acquiring torque information acting on the first carrying rotating units; and a speed control unit where the rotational speed in the second rotating drive unit is controlled in accordance with a comparison result of the torque information detected by the torque information detecting unit when the carried medium is carried only by the first carrying rotating units, and the torque information detected by the torque information detecting unit when the carried medium is carried by both the first carrying rotating unit and the second carrying rotating unit.
