<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect the boundary of a water surface on the basis of one image, even with any wall surface at a high speed. <P>SOLUTION: A coordinate transformation processing part 13 performs coordinate transformation by affine transformation, in such a way that the boundary of a water surface in one image obtained by photographing by a camera 3 is horizontal. A first histogram processing part 14 transforms luminance values of a water-level image obtained by the coordinate transformation by histogram flattening. A second histogram processing part 15 adds up luminance values of pixels on each line, in the horizontal direction in the water-level image obtained by the luminance transformation and detects a line, having a maximum total value as the boundary of the water surface to a wall surface. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
