<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyamide which is excellent in strength, toughness, heat stability, heat aging resistance and hydrolysis resistance, and has a high melting point. <P>SOLUTION: (A) The polyamide is obtained by polymerizing (a) a dicarboxylic acid which contains an alicyclic dicarboxylic acid and (b) a diamine which contains a diamine having a substitution group branched from the main chain, wherein the polyamide complies with requirements that it has a ratio of 10 mol% or less in terms of the total amount of the aromatic monomer constituting the polyamide relative to the total amount of the monomer constituting the polyamide, and that formula (1): 0.10≤[the total amount of the terminal group of the molecular chain minus the amount of the amino terminal group]/[the total amount of the terminal group of the molecular chain]≤0.70. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
