PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent excessiveness or shortage in an amount of the recovered refrigerant from a freezing compartment cooler during pumping down in a refrigerator performing a refrigerating compartment cooling mode and a freezing compartment cooling mode. SOLUTION: The refrigerator includes a switching valve 28 for switching between a refrigerating compartment cooling mode for supplying the refrigerant condensed by a condenser 26 by driving of a compressor 25 to a refrigerating compartment cooler 18, a freezing compartment cooling mode for supplying the condensed refrigerant to the freezing compartment cooler 20, and a full close mode for shutting off a refrigerant flow passage from the condenser 26 to the refrigerating compartment cooler 18 and the freezing compartment cooler 20; and a switching controller for executing a pumping down mode for driving the compressor 25 in the full close mode before executing the refrigerating compartment cooling mode. The compressor 25 is the capacity-variable compressor by variation of a rotational frequency, and executes the pumping down mode for the time in accordance with the rotational frequency of the compressor 25 in the pumping down mode. Therefore, it is possible to prevent excessiveness or shortage in the amount of the recovered refrigerant from the freezing compartment cooler 20. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
