PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shackle capable of perfectly preventing drop of a shackle pin. SOLUTION: A threaded hole 5 is formed at an end portion of one shaft parts 3a of a pair of opposite shaft parts 3a, 3b of a shackle body 1, and a pin insert hole 6 is provided at an end portion of the other shaft part 3b. The bore diameter of a minor diameter hole portion 6b of the pin insert hole 6 is set smaller than the bore diameter of the threaded hole 5. A threaded shaft 12 engageable with the threaded hole 5 is provided at a leading end of the shackle pin 11 to be laid between the threaded hole 5 and the pin insert hole 6, and a head portion 13 is formed at a rear end portion located outside the minor diameter hole portion 6b of the pin insert hole 6 in a state where the threaded shaft 12 is engaged with the threaded hole 5. The drop of the shackle pin 11 is prevented by the contact of the head portion 13 onto the circumferential of the outside opening end of the minor diameter hole portion 6b of the pin insert hole 6 and the contact of a root-side end surface 12a of the threaded shaft 12 onto the blocking end surface of a major diameter portion 6a.
