摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low-cost planetary gear device for surely suppressing the deflection of a pinion shaft leading to a contacting failure of a rolling bearing when a load is input to the pinion shaft deviating from the axial center. SOLUTION: The planetary gear device includes a long pinion gear 12, a sun gear 11 for meshing therewith, a carrier 15 having the pinion shaft 14F and a carrier body 15c, and the rolling bearing 18 mounted between the pinion gear 12 and the pinion shaft 14F. The meshing position of the pinion gear 12 with the sun gear 11 is set at an one-end side portion 14a of the pinion shaft 14F. In the vicinity of a fixed portion of the pinion shaft 14F to the carrier body 15c, elastic members 21a, 21b are provided for causing axially perpendicular displacement of the pinion shaft 14F, greater than the maximum inputting deflection of the pinion shaft 14F when inputting axially perpendicular force.
