PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hermetic compressor which has sufficient reliability and solves a problem such as abnormal wear with alternative refrigerant or natural refrigerant for which selection of refrigerating machine oil is difficult, and in which a sliding state is severe since high load is applied on contact surfaces of a crankshaft and an auxiliary end plate, and the crankshaft rotates at high speed. SOLUTION: A wedge shape noncontact section 6a is provided at a rotation direction tip section of the contact surface of the crankshaft 6 keeping contact with the auxiliary end plate 11.
