PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultraviolet ray shielding device that cuts solar ultraviolet rays (UVB), eliminating adverse effect on the body without covering the face or the like. SOLUTION: The device is structured such that LED semiconductors 10 for emitting light nearly downward are installed in the periphery of a solar radiation shielding body covering the upper part of the head, so that harmful UVB from the sun is intercepted by the light emission of the LED semiconductors 10.
