PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an anchor metal fitting for joining walls which can be easily installed, designed, and manufactured, and a method of easily and reliably fixing the anchor metal fitting. SOLUTION: This anchor metal fitting 1 for joining walls includes a screw part 2 screwed with a bolt at one end and a contact part 3 brought into contact with the structure of a building at the other end. A plurality of through holes 5, 6 are drilled in the contact part 3, and the axes 5a, 6a of the through holes 5, 6 are offset relative to the axis 2a of the screw part 2. A plate-like support part 4 is provided between the screw part 2 and the contact part 3 for connecting the screw part 2 to the contact part 3, and the contact part 3 is positioned at right angle to the plate-like support part 4. The contact part 3 is formed by bending one end portion of a flat plate at right angle. The screw part 2 is formed by bending the other end portion of the flat plate in a generally semi-circular shape, folding back the bent portion to form a cylinder, and engraving a female screw 2c in the inner surface 2b of the cylinder.
