PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tension roller leveler which straightens the warpage in the longitudinal direction of a metal plate, and can achieve the further improvement of quality, and to provide a warpage straightening method using the same. SOLUTION: In the tension roller leveller 10 in which an elongation device 12, a width direction warpage straightening device 13 and a longitudinal direction warpage straightening device 14 are successively arranged in the conveying direction of a metal plate 11, and the warpage straightening method using the same, a warpage caused in the longitudinal direction of the metal plate 11 is straightened in such a manner that, while it is gradually reduced by even number of small-sized work rolls 39-34 alternately arranged on both the sides in the thickness direction of the metal plate 11, it is left to either side in the thickness direction of the metal plate 11 at the outlet sides, and thereafter, a warpage on the side opposite to the warpage left at the outlet sides of the small-sized work rolls 29-34 is applied to the metal plate 11 by at least three odd number of large-sized work rolls 35-37 arranged alternately on both the sides in the thickness direction of the metal plate 11 and having a diameter larger than that of the small-sized work rolls 29 to 34.
