The invention relates to a method for the production of elements for closures, such as frames, windows, doors, partitions and the like, comprising the use of rotomoulding techniques. The method includes the construction of a mould specially designed for this specific purpose, said mould being formed by a number of interconnected component parts which are obtained by means of extrusion of aluminium and have the shape and size characteristics of the finished product, thereby obtaining a one-piece end product. The mould allows the incorporation of inserts, metal fittings or other accessories that have to be included in the finished product, and the manufacturing raw material is a polymer of the high-density linear polyethylene type, to which a combination of pigments can be added in accordance with the desired colour for the final product. The conversion process comprises placing the mould and the associated components inside a multi-directional rotary oven. |
