An infrared light shielding film of the present invention comprising a reflective layer and a protective layer exhibits high visible light transmittance with high infrared light shielding efficiency; wherein, the reflective layer is composed of alternating layers of layer A and layer B, wherein the layer A is made of polyethylene terephthalate and the layer B, at least one material selected from the group consisting of poly(methyl methacrylate), polylactic acid, and polyethylene naphthalate; the layer A to the layer B weight ratio is in the range of 1.5 : 1 to 1 : 1.5; and the value of Z obtained by the following formula is 1 or more: Z = (Y/X) x (?d2-?di) / ?d2, wherein X, Y, ?d1, and ?d2 are specifically defined in the specification.
