On a counter substrate (2) in a liquid crystal display panel (1), a light-shielding film (3) having a transmittance of 20% or more at a wavelength included in a wavelength region of not shorter than 350 nm and shorter than 380 nm and a transmittance of 50% or less at all wavelengths in a wavelength region of 430 to 700 nm inclusive when the transmittance of the counter substrate (2) is defined as 100% is formed. In the liquid crystal display panel (1), a lower layer of the light-shielding film (3) can be irradiated with a UV ray satisfactorily even when the UV ray is ejected from a substrate side on which the light-shielding film (3) is formed.
