<p>Generating nanocrystalline or nanocrystal-containing metallic oxide and metal mixed oxide layers on barrier layer-forming metals comprises cleaning and anodically degreasing a substrate to be coated comprising the metals, in a galvanic electrolysis with an aqueous electrolyte, anodizing the substrate in the electrolytes under spark discharge with direct current voltage and/or direct current voltage impulses and temporal change of the voltage up to a coating final voltage, washing the coated substrate after the electrolysis for the cleaning of electrolytes and then drying the substrate. Generating nanocrystalline or nanocrystal-containing metallic oxide and metal mixed oxide layers on barrier layer-forming metals comprises cleaning and anodically degreasing a substrate to be coated comprising the metals, in a galvanic electrolysis with an aqueous electrolyte, which contains at least one complexing agent, a solubilizer such as isopropanol, a titanium source such as titanium alkoxide, and buffer components, anodizing the substrate in the electrolytes under spark discharge with direct current voltage and/or direct current voltage impulses and temporal change of the voltage up to a coating final voltage, washing the coated substrate after the electrolysis for the cleaning of electrolytes and then drying the substrate, where the complexing agent is nitrilotriacetic acid and/or diethylenetriaminepentaacetic acid and by the concentration of the complexing agent and buffer components, an electrical conductivity of the electrolyte of 10-17 mScm ->1>and a pH value of 6.5-6.8 are adjusted.</p> |
